Fagforbundet BSF (Bus – and Tramworkers Union) is a local union/branch for employees in public transport in Trondheim, Norway. We are part of Fagforbundet (The Norwegian Union of Municipal and General Employees), the largest Union in Norway, with more than 300 000 members. Fagforbundet is a part of LO (The Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions), with about 800,000 members, and ITF (International Transport workers Federation).
BSF is one of the oldest local unions in Fagforbundet, started in 1901. We are yhe largest union in public transport in Trondheim, with more than 600 members. Our members are mostly bus drivers, but we also organise other employees in the buscompanys. We have members from more than 20 different nations/cultures and 15% of our members are female workers.
